The primary ministry of the Worship Department is the worship services on Sunday morning. This department, made

up of lay persons, works closely with the professional staff (ministers, music minister, and accompanist) to provide a

worshipful experience. The purposeful aims of our worship services are to praise God, to provide a sanctuary for

peace and wholeness, and for the creation of a spiritual oneness with all of God's people.

*This involves a 52-week commitment from the members of this department.

First Christian Church-Sikeston follows the liturgical year. This means that we celebrate the seasons of the Christian

year---Advent, Epiphany, Lent, Eastertide, and Pentecost.

where you can lend those talents in ministry.

Baptismal Services.

This is most probably the most significant ministry of the Worship Department. Assisting the baptismal candidates

on the day of their baptism.
